““Dr. Bonnie Stefan has devoted her life to education and public service, honorably serving on the College of the Desert Board of Trustees for 25 years and teaching in Indio for more than 43 years. Dr. Stefan’s integrity and passion for COD students is obvious – she’s helped eliminate barriers to a higher education by providing free COD tuition to every high school graduate in the Coachella Valley, free public transportation for all COD students, and greater access to new COD campuses across the Coachella Valley, including the newly expanded COD campus in Indio. I’m proud to endorse Dr. Stefan for re-election to the COD Board of Trustees.”
